Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
Do Not Call Compliance
DRS ACQUISITIONS, INC works with its clients to ensure strict adherence to all Federal and State telemarketing rules, laws and guidelines. If it is required that the Do Not Call List (both Federal and State, as applicable) be applied to a calling file DRS will ensure that this process happens to the letter of the law.
As applicable for specific residential calling campaigns, each client that needs to register with the FTC Registry to allow for monthly downloading of the Do Not Call lists for the area codes that DRS Acquisitions will be calling on your behalf can register through the FTC Registry website: https://telemarketing.donotcall.gov/. DRS will work with you to register and obtain a SANs (Standard Address Number) as needed. When purging of the Do Not Call list from the calling file is required DRS will only call into area codes that are registered with that SANs number. DRS will download and update the current calling files at least once every 30 days and will do so for the term of the calling campaign.
Prior to calling into any state DRS will fully review that State’s rules, Laws and Guidelines and, depending on the State, register or have the client register as applicable.
Please note that when DRS helps broker residential calling lists these records will be cleansed of the FTC Registry Do Not call records. A SANs number will need to be supplied, and upon receipt of the calling file DRS will run against the Do Not Call list again to ensure complete accuracy and full compliance. States that have Do Not Call files separate from the FTC Registry sometimes do not provide these DNC files to list brokers so such purging of Do Not Call records will occur at DRS.
DRS does not up-charge its existing clients for the cleansing of these calling files.
For ALL CAMPAIGNS DRS will track and provide clients the telephone number of any prospect that has requested that their telephone number be added to the Client’s Do Not Call list. It is also mandated that any prospects that have previously requested to be added to the client’s Do Not Call list are not called. This can be accomplished either by the client on the front end by deleting these Do Not Call records from the calling files provided to DRS OR on the back end in which the client provides DRS an electronic list of these ten digit Do Not Call telephone numbers. Any request made directly to a client during a campaign needs to be passed on to DRS so that these numbers are removed promptly from our calling files.
